We are very proud to tell anyone where our
babies came from. Our first was Syn which I
campaigned myself and made her an AKC Champion and
also an International Champion titled in Germany.
Syn is a new Mom free whelping 3 babies on 10-29-04
just past midnight. Leonardo, owned by you and I,
is an AKC Champion and proud daddy of Eastwood who
is currently being campaigned by Luke Ehricht and
only needs one major to become a Champion.
Hopefully, he will finish this weekend. My hat is
off to you for being a conscientious and ethical

We purchased a beautiful maltese from Phyllis
and Joe at Ga-LI.Her name is Monet. We took her to
our vet for her one year check-up this week. Our
vet said he had never seen such beautiful teeth and
her coat of hair was magnificient. He could tell
she was well cared for for her first six months by
Phyllis and Joe.She was so still and well behaved
when you brushed her or had to fix anything on her.
We are so proud of Monet. She is so smart and has
learned to sit ,stay and fetch her playtoys and
brings them to you. We highly recommend to anyone
who is looking for a beautiful well cared for

Anyone interested in adopting a quality Maltese
has found the right place. Ga-Li has wonderful
champions as well as an occasional pet. Since
Phyllis and Joe treat each new puppy the same as
they would a new human, you can be assured that you
have adopted the very best. I have visited in
Phyllis' and Joe's home and have seen the love they
give to each individual dog. They raise them
underfoot, not out back in kennels. My Maltese,
Ga-Li's Splendor's Mozart (Mozart) is a wonderful,
loveable baby (even though he is now 4 years old)
and he has been the source of much joy in my life.
When we took him back to visit with Phyllis and
Joe, they still loved him as much as they did when
we were finally able to leave their home with him
the first time. They are totally concerned about
the happiness and well-being of each of the dogs
they adopt out. They want to be assured that the
dog will be loved and properly cared for in their

We lost our beautiful "Rocky" who we had for 13
years. We didn't want to come home because our home
was so empty. I got online after a few months and
found Phyllis's Maltese website and fell in love
with her puppies. We drove from our summer cottage
in Canada to Birmingham to meet the puppies.At
first, we felt guilty looking for a new puppy but
realized this new puppy was not replacing Rocky but
would fill our home with happiness again.We feel so
blessed that Phyliss let us have one of her
precious puppies. We've now had "Beni" for 6 months
and he is JUST WONDERFUL. He's not only the cutiest
but the most loving Maltese anyone could ever wish
for. He makes us laugh, and cry "when he got his
first puppy cut". He's playful, and energetic, and
the most perfect puppy. We are just crazy about
him. Anyone considering a Maltese would be very

My husband and I have now had Mozart for almost
three years. He never ceases to amaze me with his
loving ways. He loves both of us, but he normally
favors me. But he is just like a child--I sometimes
call him and he gets that sweet little look on his
face and goes to Wayne to be picked up. But when

To all, we lost our Priss on April 14, 2003. I
immediately knew that I had to replace a void in
our home. Our daughter DeLaney is and will be an
only child and I wanted her to experience caring
and love for a dog. I started using all of the
resources I knew to find not only a reputable but
loving breeder. My requirements were for one puppy
and female was a must. All of my leads lead me to
Phyllis and Joe Burnette. She was a hard one to
convience that I was capable of loving one of her
babies. It took me around 2 months and many phone
calls just to get her to consider me. I work for a
Government Agency that requires clearances.
Phyllis's interview was more intense(humor). Then
she wanted me to think about a mate to go with the
little girl and I was like no way! Then my eyes met
his! I knew I had to try it. Well, it's been 3
weeks, and we have went through so many phases. All
to the good! I was partial to little girls but
didn't know how much the boy's are "moma's boy's".
