Pet Sales Agreement

puppy is sold as a pet on AKC Limited Registration. Puppy
must be spayed/neutered within fourteen days after purchase
and may not be bred. AKC Registration papers will be given
upon proof of spay/neuter from your vet. This puppy is not
being sold for breeding purposes.
This
puppy's shot record is included. It is suggested that you
confer with you own veterinarian within 48 hours. This puppy
has been examined by ___________________________ and found
to be healthy. This puppy may be returned within 48 hours of
purchase for a full refund; however after 48 hours the buyer
assumes all responsibility for the health and temperament of
the puppy. The seller is not responsible for vet fees.
In
the future if a health problem should arise it will be
necessary to return to seller to confirm any problems. If
something should happen to the puppy the remains will be
required for a post mortem at sellers' choice of vets for
any consideration.
If
for any good reason you do not wish to keep this puppy,
seller will accept her/him back, within a reasonable time,
and consideration will be discussed. This puppy may not be
sold, given, or placed without first offering seller puppy
back. The value
of the puppy will be determined by the seller at that time.
Determining factors will be age, training,
spaying/neutering and condition of the dog.
In case the contract is breached and a lawsuit arises, the
winner is entitled to recover their expenses including
reasonable attorney fees. The laws of the State of Alabama
will govern, and any claims will be handled in a court in
the State of Alabama and in the county in which the seller
resides. Seller has the right to visit this puppy, and if
seller finds that said puppy is not being well cared for (as
determined by seller); seller has the right lo repossess
said dog at a fair market price(as determined by seller)
less any expenses incurred by seller will be deducted from
the fair market price. Seller
is not responsible for bites, testicles, and color in hair.
Puppy
is accustomed to a diet of Nature‚Choice Small Bites
for puppies, small amount of canned Pedigree, vegetables,
vitamins, chicken and chicken broth cut in food processor
(no fat). For treats I use small liver
bites, cheese, etc. When a puppy is new to your home, give
them time to adjust. Puppy should have own
sleeping place of confinement for training purposes. Puppies
usually will go to paper to relieve themselves. Puppies
relieve themselves very often so should be watched closely. Remember,
they thrive on praise,,,,,
Buyer
agrees to keep in touch with seller throughout the lifetime
of the puppy. Buyer also agrees to send pictures of the
puppy al least once a year at Christmas.
